Slow mornings for the soul
My son said my feed needed to lighten up. Too much sadness, he said.
A Saturday pop-up at @studiomusekalkbay in Kalk Bay
with @theayurvediclarder was a welcome pause and cleared my head.
Sasha Scholtz (artist, teacher and the owner of 64 on Clovelly airbnb) and I had some fragrant chai tea, and millet porridge with apricot sauce, and I bought some delicious date chutney.
Here’s a short clip from the pop-up.

A bit about me and my bag
My hemp twine tote from Hemporium SA goes with me to sustainable swaps and soirees. I bought it five years ago (read my Wordpress post here) and love the story behind the bags. All Hemporium SA products are made from sustainable, durable hemp and I am particularly partial to the hemp twine totes made by women at the NGO H18. My five-year-old-tote is as strong and sturdy as the day it was bought. And it has been in the washing machine a couple of times.
Hemporium SA, with its slogan Innovate. Educate. Cultivate, is a sustainable South African brand Green Route ZA is proud to collaborate with.
